An Open Letter to Emperor Kennedy (Justice on the US Supreme Court)

Dear Emperor Kennedy:

I humbly beseech your Majesty for redress. On my knees, sir, I beseech thee. I have information that the lawyers representing four states in the same sex marriage case, Obergefell, and who argued in favor of states’ laws prohibiting same sex marriage were afraid to do things that they are legally allowed to do. In fact, they were so afraid of offending you and the rest of the Court that they didn’t even ask for the recusal of the two Justices who have officiated over same sex marriages. They were afraid that the Court might retaliate against them and attack their state laws out of some kind of petty meanness, as if you and your colleagues wouldn’t really look at the law. I apologize for that kind of attitude toward the Imperial Court. I know you couldn’t possibly want that. Should our justice system operate under such intimidation from the highest court that lawyers don’t even represent their clients zealously? But, really, are the other Justices that petty?

In another message in Act, Peter seems to say that the new is still to come.

“Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord; And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you: Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.” Acts 3:19-21.

The Genesis account according to Old Earth (millions of yrs), theistic evolution, bible-believers, so called: (We’ll call it Genesis according to the prophet Hugh Ross or the Ross/Tim Keller version of creation.)

The following is an imaginary, conversation between the Father & an incredulous angelic scribe.

God [speaking to His Son & an angelic scribe as to how the universe is to begin]:  In the beginning were elements that came together over billions of years into chunks of matter, stars & moons & such, but in such a way as to defy the general laws of science & form in one spot a completely unlikely place called earth, where all the objects align so that I can create on that place.

Angel [Interrupting]:  Sir, why would you cause something to happen contrary to the laws of science you created? And doesn’t that contradict the account you plan to give to the prophet, Moses? As the angelic scribe, I’ve seen the 1st draft of the 1st five books of the bible, you know.

Before we can understand the legal effect of Christ being born in a stable in Bethlehem approximately two thousand years ago, we first have to understand what the earth’s and humanity’s legal status was before.

The Matrix – Neo

Even though Neo begins like someone having his eyes opened to the reality that the world is, like a Christian being born again, the movie portrays Neo becoming an obvious Christ figure. To simplify, he dies, rises again, and thereby lives in total control of the Matrix, unable to be defeated by the Agents of the Machine but able to decode and devour them from the inside out. But if it were that simple, the movie would not be genius, and it is genius.

Ray Sutton in That You May Prosper claims the following: “So, That You May Prosper has two parts: covenant and dominion. My primary purpose in the ‘covenant’ section is to define the covenant. The Book of Deuteronomy is a model, a place where all of its parts can clearly be seen. Deuteronomy IS to the covenant what Romans is to systematic theology. But how do we know Deuteronomy is a covenant? Moses says, “He declared to you His covenant which He commanded you to perform, that is, the Ten Commandments [Words]” (Deut. 4:13).

Matthew 24 – Part 2

This Gospel Must Be Preached in All the World

Most people reading the bible do not know how to interpret prophetic language. Instead of using the bible to interpret the bible, they use the newspaper or the most simplistic method. Here’s an example from Matthew 24. “And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.” Matthew 24:14.

Have you ever really thought through that one? Let’s look at it from the typical “the end is near and it’s hopefully getting nearer” perspective.
